How do I create and edit goals?

Goals let you track your calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and more.

It's easy to create and edit your Foodnoms goals.

Create and edit goals inside the Goals tab by tapping on the Edit and Plus buttons in the top-right

Creating a New Goal

  1. From the Goals tab (chart icon in main toolbar), tap the "+" button in the top-right corner.
  2. Select the nutrient you wish to track.
  3. Choose the type of goal you want: budget, target, or range.
  4. Configure the goal based on your preferences and nutrition requirements.
  5. Tap "Done" to save.

Editing an Existing Goal

  1. From the Goals tab (chart icon in main toolbar), tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap the goal you wish to edit.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Tap "Done" to save.

Note, when you edit a goal, the changes do not retroactively apply to previous dates. This allows you to keep a record of what your goals were over time. If you'd like to reset the goal and discard previous settings, tap "Clear Historical Settings" from the "Edit" menu on the goal details screen.

Changing the Order of Goals

  1. From the Goals tab (chart icon in main toolbar), tap "Edit" in the top-left of the screen.
  2. Hold down on a goal's grabbing indicator and drag it vertically to change the sort order.

Deleting a Goal

  1. From the Goals tab (chart icon in main toolbar), tap "Edit" in the top-left of the screen.
  2. Tap the red "-" symbol, then tap the red "Delete" button.

Alternatively, you can delete a goal from the "Edit" menu form the goal details screen.
